Designing & Creating Platters Workshop Ever wondered what makes a platter different from a plate? While a plate serves one, a platter brings people together — and gives you a bigger canvas to create patterns, designs, or even tell a story through clay! Join us August 3rd–6th, 6–8 PM for a hands-on workshop covering: • Planning your platter design • Hand building AND wheel throwing techniques • Surface design methods — slip, underglaze, paper cut-outs, tape resist, carving, and sgraffito • Glazing and overglaze finishing techniques using stains and brushwork You'll leave with your own hand-designed platter, and I'll bring extra tiles so you can experiment and play with patterns before committing to your final piece! Whether you want a stunning table centerpiece or a unique piece of wall art, this workshop will give you the skills to bring your vision to life in clay. August 3–6 6–8 PM Cost: $250 (plus taxes and $10 processing fee.) All materials and supplies are included.
